Windows 7: backing up my C drive

Once you have burned the CD you need to boot your PC from it. How you do that is different for each make of PC. On my HP you press Escape during the boot to get the BIOS menu and F9 to go to the boot selection screen where you can select the device to boot from but you need to read the manual for your own. Once the disk has booted you can browse to the image. you want to make sure you can find it but probably don't need to go much further.
