How do I restore an alternate backup in Acer eRecovery?
My computer decided to do the never-ending startup repair loop, so I backuped all my data using Acer's eRecovery and attempted to just reinstall Windows, but it stalled out on me. So, I loaded up Ubuntu using a USB and copied the backup data onto an external hard-drive, but now I have no idea how to restore just the data; the Windows OS is working fine now. Anyone know a way around it, cause I don't want to overwrite the backup data if I restore it onto C:/? (If I run eRecovery again, I'm afraid that it'll overwrite my data)
