Macrium boot cd won't load Something has changed in the bios I guess. No matter how I set the boot order it will not boot the disc.

Can the DVD/CD drive be used normally? If not, perhaps the SATA/IDE connection is loose.....have you checked that? | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Golden Mk. Sometimes there is a little "Press any key" message on the left top of the screen. If you miss that, it will default to the OS. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP, Dell, Gateway, Toshiba - 4 laptops and 2 desktops OS Vista, Windows7, Mint Mate, Zorin, Windows 8 CPU from 1.6GHz Duo to i7 Monitor(s) Displays 2x HP w2207 Keyboard with trackball - no mices Mouse Trackball mice Hard Drives 5x HDD, 7x SSD, 12x Externals Internet Speed DSL 6000 |

No it's a weird one. It can be used either of them and I no longer see the press any key to boot from cd

As Golden said, there is probably something wrong with your CD drive connection or the drive itself. Cannot be the OS because that is not involved at that stage. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP, Dell, Gateway, Toshiba - 4 laptops and 2 desktops OS Vista, Windows7, Mint Mate, Zorin, Windows 8 CPU from 1.6GHz Duo to i7 Monitor(s) Displays 2x HP w2207 Keyboard with trackball - no mices Mouse Trackball mice Hard Drives 5x HDD, 7x SSD, 12x Externals Internet Speed DSL 6000 |

It was me. I am getting ready to install a SSD for Windows 7 and blindly I followed an instructional video that said go into the bios and change the sata settings. I'm going to follow this up in another thread to get input on SSD setup.
