Restore Image from "Two-Drive" Setup to Single SSD

I want my OS and programs on a new 256GB SSD. I've created an image of my current system - OS on C: drive and program files on D: (modified registry to install all programs to separate physical drive D: by default).

Is this fairly straight-forward, or will I need to do any tweaking or hoop-jumping to do this? Thanks.

    Hello Psuedoware,

If you don't restore both, you'll have to reinstall all programs on the other.

Thanks, I was hoping I could restore it to a single drive, but at this point, I'm thinking that isn't possible.

You could make 2 partitions on the SSD. One C and one D and that should work.

Thanks, I want to get away from having programs on a different drive letter altogether.

Then you would have to re-install all your programs to the C: drive. So you are now talking a clean install of the OS and then install all your programs.
