    what should i do before formatting toshiba laptop


    i've keep my important files into external pendrive. so whats next? could i just format it then?
    im very confused.
    1. backup is just to safeguard the files i need right?
    2. what exactly is recovery image?
    3. do i have to make a setup disk or something?

    all i thought is that laptop work like handphone. u could just reset it to system factory default and simple as that. or im so wrong? please someone correct me and teach me what i should do!

    If you have backed up all your data externally, I would perform a clean install by carefully following this:

    Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7

    Dude, its a Toshiba, you're better running an OEM restore, hope you have or created the recovery disks.

    Try this, print it out first so your can refer to it.
