Random Blue Screen Error 0x0000007E
Hi, I just recently fixed my computer. Unfortunately, it has begun some of its old problems again after only a few hours of use, and will randomly get blue screened. Additionally, the person that fixed my computer installed Windows Ultimate on it when I had Windows Home Premium. My computer currently says that my copy is not genuine, even though I bought it and I cannot re-install the old system because my computer crashes halfway through the installation process or so every time. The only reason I mention that is because it may have something to do with the drivers not being compatible/some kind of hardware problem, because I do not have access to Windows Updates.
I cannot upload a screenshot, so I will try to recite the blue screen information as best as I can from the picture I took
*** STOP:0x0000007E (0xFFFFFFFFC0000005,0xFFFFF88001c770FE,0FFFFF88003B7E8D8, 0xFFFFF88003B7E130)
*** Ntfs.sys-Address FFFFF88001c770Fe base at FFFFF88001c45000. DateStamp 4ce792f9
I don't know if I can receive any help or not based on this information, but I truly hope so. Also, I know this is no the specific forum for it, but seeing as it may be related to the problem...how is it that I reinstall a previously used Windows 7 Home Premium if someone installed a newer, not genuine version of Windows Ultimate?
Thanks so much for your time,
