What is the easiest/most user friendly way to clone the 160 g to the 80 g so the netbook can still be used.
Another note netbook has no optical drive.
I have downloaded clonezilla-live-2.0.1-15-i486.zip onto a 1Gig usb flash drive
Just a bit stuck on what to do next
Don't use clonezilla for this.
Please show disk management screenshot of 160GB disk. Is it possible to attach 160GB and 80GB disk together to same pc (can be another pc)?
Use macrium reflect free bootable CD. Select "clone disk" (under source disk). Select destination disk. Delete partitions on destination disk. You can resize destination partitions just before starting the process. Very easy. But you have to use the WINPE bootable version... not the linux one! It is downloadable (64 bits)
Imaging with free Macrium
Detach 160GB disk from system after making clone. Now reboot normally.
