Alienrespawn taking over 32hrs to backup to external drive
I typically back-up my Alienware M17 every week or two using Alienrespawn to a Seagate external drive (1 terabyte). It often takes about four hours plus or minus to back-up the whole thing. I haven't backed-up in about a month or so and I started a back-up around 3pm yesterday and 32 hrs later it's only 85% backed-up. Even accounting for a month or so of not backing up, this seems excessive to me.
I should note, now that I think of it, that I've done a fair amount of quick books data entry with local back-ups, a download of the new QB 2013 and Adobe Acobat Pro in the last month. I also backed-up photos (maybe a 100) from my iphone. Could these things account for the ridiculous timeframe?
Thoughts regarding the extra long time?
Thanks in advance,
