Restore error 0x81000011
When I attempt to restore files from DVD backup, the Windows 7 Backup and Restore utility produces the following error message:
Restore failed to restore the file: C:\Temp\StTim+JJCBkup\20130504193320.m2ts. Error: The backup file is corrupted or missing. Check your hardware configuration or restore from a different backup. (0x81000011)The file producing the error is very large (approx. 8 GB). All other files on the DVDs were restored successfully. I did not receive an error message of any kind when the backup DVDs were created.
Is there a limit on the size of files that the Windows 7 Backup and Restore utility can handle? How do I troubleshoot the restore problem?
