How to recover data from a GPT disk?
We had a malfunction in our Seagate BlackArmor Disk.
We had to open the external case and pull out the HDD. After connecting it to computers
configured with Windows 8 or Windows 7, though the disk was displayed in the
Disk Manager, the data was unreadable. According to what I've read, Win 7 or Win 8 should be able to read\write from\to such a GPT disk. Using a 3rd party software we found it's a GPT disk, but this software also could not read the data.
Disk is Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST31000528AS.
Any highlights would be greatly appreciated, it's alot of important data.
