Create System Image Failure - Bad Clusters

I am trying to create a system image, and the backup says it has failed due to 'bad clusters on the source volume' I have carried out the error check process defined in Disk Check, and ticked both boxes. That found no errors. Has anyone got any thoughts about what I try next?
