Need help with factory restore on Lenovo 3000 series G530

Hey there guys and gals, I have a Lenovo Laptop 3000 series G530 (18 months old) and it causing me a few problems because it's extremely slow and almost always unresponsive to anything I do (webpages on most occasions are taking 30 - 40 minutes to load, Although here it only take 10 - 20 seconds :P).

Anyway I located a .VHD file and tried to use that restore it's previous state from last november (just before I returned it too the microsoft engineer who said he had fixed it when he hadn't (naughty engineer ), Anyway I managed to fix it myself that time round.

So I was posting in one of the threads here earlier about opening the .vhd file to access the windows file's before they became unresponsive (or whatever you want to call it ) and it turn's out that the .vhd file may be from just after the engineer tried to fix it or just before (not too sure it was the same day though ), Anywho I wanted to know how to do a factory restore on the computer without having the installation disc (and apparently no product key on the sticker below the battery on the bottom of the laptop, It's worn away so it's unreadable).

Make your own thread for this problem. And post link here so I know where it is!

Is the VHD the state of computer you want to go back to? I don't think so. It's a backup just after bringing it to engineer. So actually just after delivering it. So must be the faulty state as it was!

You want a factory install... hmmm any important files on computer now? Backup them all first.

Factory install means: back to state when you bought it. So no extra applications on it! All has to be reinstalled! Is that a problem?

Do you have a win7 COA "Certificate Of Authenticity" on computer? Maybe below battery, maybe on back of laptop? Product key is on it
    Something like this: https://www.google.nl/search?q=coa&b...w=1366&bih=600

    Boot into Advanced Boot Options
Select "repair your computer". Does it look like this or do you have more options?

See manual for "how to restore factory settings". Found it ... works? Be sure to backup important files first!

yes I have the sticker but it is too faded to read, The only thing's I can read on it is a tracking number and the number above the barcode, The rest is too faded to read.

    It's windows 7 professional, English
No I do not have an installation disc, One was not provided when I bought the laptop.

COA sticker is really unreadable?? You need that productkey in case of reinstall! Can you read none of the product key? Or almost everything?

Manual is on CD which came with computer, or on manual on paper

You are willing to do a factory install now? It will revert back to the state when you bought it. All new programs are gone then. All your documents are gone as well! did you backup all of your important documents? Do it now
