backup help

hi all.
i need help.
i want to back up my desktop all of my laptop files onto my WD 1TB Hard drive
so my C drive is nice and low.

how do a do a back up with windows 7 ?

Hello Matty,

Are you wanting to access them from only the external drive? If so, you might consider this below.

Create a new folder(s) on the WD 1TB Hard drive.
Move any files you want into the new folder(s).
Include the new folder into a library or libraries of your choice.
If you like, you can also set a new folder to be the default "save" to location for a library as well.
