Can't access windows 7 image on usb drive
Hi there. I recently created a systemimagebackup on a usb drive; the usb drive also contains other files.
When I use a windows 7 repair disk, it isn't detecting the image on the usb drive. What can be done? What is the repair disk looking for? This folder contains catalog files, xml files, vhd files. For some reason the repair disk is looking for 'setup'. Strange... Now if I manage to copy the image to the c:\ drive, will it work, too? How can it restore and repopulate the c:\ drive at the same time? Should I create a new partition? THanks in advance for your help.
