While trying to save an image to an external hard drive, I get a message saying "Failed to complete, file 0x8007002 not found". I'm running the Windows 7 Evaluation copy. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi bgerbig... Welcome to the forums... the 0x8007002 seems to be a standard file not found error code.. it may be as simple as renaming the pic and retrying the copy/save...

Thanks for your response. Since I'm trying to create a system image, I have no idea which file is missing.

There are several imaging programs out there for backing up your computer and it is good to see that you are getting into the habit of imaging your drive... As you dont specify which copy you are using, other than an evaluation copy, I wouldn't worry about making an image backup until you get the RTM retail version all set up and ready to go. I personally use Acronis True Image Home 2010 for all of my backup needs.. It costs, but IMO is worth every penny... Let us know if you have any questions or problems..
