There are 3 download servers available on ASUS Download Site - Global, China and P2P. Each server provides exact the same content no matter where you download from, except for the speed which you are connected to.

Hi herbc,

Hotfix are like windows updates to rectify any known issue or compatibility issues with any other software.

You need to download and the Chipset and Intel Rapid Storage driver unzip them and place them to a USB drive.

And when you get this option while loading the restore discs select install drive and browse to these drivers and it should load the drive so that your harddrive can be detected.

All servers would have the same file only. Reason there are different servers available is because if one of the server does down user can still access the file from a different server.
