Recommendation on Alternative to Genie Timeline Backup

Hi There!

I am looking for a backup application that will handle backing up just specified files and folders.

It needs to be able to REALLY fast incremental backups (Think shadowprotect fast).

I like products like Genie Timeline or Altaro FS backup, however these two have a fatal flaw which I must have in terms of functionality - that the software writes an event log each time the backup is run. The reason for this is that I want to have our RMM Package monitor the event logs so it can show us if these 6 laptops have had a backup, pretty much instantly.

The incrementals need to be fast and small because we are backing these up to a NAS and replicating these backups to another locations NAS Unit.

Any recommendations much appreciated.

I am happy to pay $40USD or so per copy for a product that meets our needs

Need BU alternative to Genie

Internet data backup service - recommendation?
Does anyone here use an internet backup service worth recommending? I would like to try a free service, but with about 70-80 gigs, I expect I'll probably have to pay. I keep images on an external drive, but I would like an off-site backup too. Thanks, Rusty

Genie Timeline
I just grabbed a copy of Genie Timeline for file backups. It's doing it now but at the rate it's going, it's gonna take hours! I used to use Second Copy which is brilliant but am having problems with it on Win7 x64. Anyone used Genie before? I understand that once this done, incremental backups...
