System Restore does not restore/complete

Hi. I'm new, so I hope I'm doing this right. I'm having several problems with my computer. I have tried to use system restore to correct some of them, but when system restore is finished I get a message that nothing has been changed; my system has not been restored to the restore point chosen. How can I fix this?

Please, explain in more detail what issue/s you are experiencing.

We cannot suggest a fix without knowing the symptoms.

John, when I use system restore, I use a system restore point. However, after the restore is complete, and I restart my computer a little box comes up on my desktop that says NO CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE. In other words, system restore did not work?restore my system to the earlier time chosen. I have tried using different restore points with the same result...nothing was changed.

The link looks like an ad trying to get you to buy something. Ignore that for the time being. == Why are you doing a System Restore? There must be a problem you are trying to correct. Tell us that so that we may better help.
