Can't interpret these backup error messages

I do backup on my computers every Sunday using external drives.

For the last two Sundays I have experienced the attached error messages and have no idea what to do to get back in business. Never got these massages before.

Computer specs are attached to this post.

Hope you can help.

Hello Joe,

That error means that the listed folders in the error report log are still included in your scheduled backup, but they no longer exists at that location. Windows Backup will still create the backup, but just skips backing up those folders and their contents since they cannot be found.

To stop getting this error, you would need to change your backup settings using step 4 in the tutorial below to uncheck (remove) these listed folders to no longer be included in your backup.

Hmmmm

Windows ca't find the files and neither can I.

Tell you what, I'm going to wipe this drive and start over. The update problem is driving me nuts. Iv'e spent- what 4 days trying to install 2 updates and have virtually no time with this, my main computer.

I install the updates, it supposedly reboots but doesn't boot into Windows, I go into safe mode, restore in safe mode, boot into Windows, you know the drill.

See you folks is a couple of days.

Unless you had other issues, you could just reset Windows Backup to default to stop this message as well instead of reinstalling Windows.

I re-installed Windows 7 and all the updates (130+). Now it is at "Shutting Down"

If it shuts down in a week or two, I will be able to use it.

Well, I'm back on line. Only thing I don't have is USB 3.0.

I thought it would be in the motherboard drivers. Any clue where I can get it? Google was no help.

Good news.

Double check to make sure that you have USB 3.0 enabled in your BIOS. You'll also need to install your chipset and USB drivers from your motherboard's driver site.

I had already installed the Intel chipset drivers thinking the USB drivers were in there- they were not BUT I remembered the Renesas Elec. USB 3.0 Host controller driver in my Windows 7 portfolio.

All is well.

I've been stopped because it is now installing 12 more updates. Will this never end?
