YUMI Syystem Tools option not available

I love booting to YUMI and picking which ISO I want to run. I have 3 Macriuym ISOs on my YUMI but there are no options for Antivirus or System Tools I would like my YUMI USB to have all of the above. How come these options are displayed on Golden's tutorial but they are not found on my YUMI.

You need to install the various tools on the USB using YUMI. This involves navigation to the appropriate entry in the YMI installer. Usually there is a download option for the software. Once you have downloaded it YUMI will be able to install it on the USB drive. Select the downloaded file within YUMI and in will be installed. You need to do this for each antivirus program and tool you wish to install.

Hello Kado897, How do you do? For me everything works to some degree.

I would like to poses a USB flash drive that functions as a multi-boot installer and has antivirus tools and systems tools on it. My installation of YUMI-0.1.0.7 does not have options for Antivirus Tools or System on the Main Multiboot Menu. How can this be?

I downloaded YUMI-0.1.0.9 to my hard drive; inserted a 16GB USB flash drive and ran install. The YUMI Installation Wizard asked me three questions: 1) What USB to install YUMI on. I selected F and checked Format FAT32. 2) What ISO I wanted to put on the USB. I selected Try unlisted ISO. 3) Select your ISO? I browsed to an ISO created with Macrium Reflect. Is there anything wrong with these answers? Am I overlooking something?

I shut down my PC; insert the USB configure with YUMI , and press Start. My system booted to the YUMI Multiboot Main Menu. From the menu I can select from multiple ISOs, and perform an installation. I have done it multiple times. I love YUMI. But on my installation there are no lines for Antivirus Tools or System Tools. How can this be? What did I do wrong or is something sneaky going on? Mr. Kad0897 will help me track this down?

Yes KCav. You need to start the installation program again. with the same USB stick plugged in. It will allow you to select other things to add. You have to do them one at a time but after the first installation is complete it asks if you want to add any more which takes you back to the selection screen. You will need to download an ISO for each tool you wish to install. There is a button on the selection screen which allows you to download most of them.

I have added two ISOs, have a total of three.
I am happy with YUMI, everything works to a degree.
I can restore a Windows image file with YUMI, but
I have no antivirus nor system diagnostics on my Rescue USB.
What should a poor boy do?

There is a section in the list for AVs.

    You were right.

I scrolled down and found the Antivirus section :), highlighted Kaspersky Rescue Disk (Antivirus Scanner). Then I Opted to Download the ISO, and clicked Visit the Kapersky Home Page, and downloaded kav_rescue_10.iso. I proceeded to Section 3 in YUMI installation Wizard, browsed to where I saved kcav_rescue_10.exe and selected the location. Then I shut down my PC, rebooted from YUMI USB, and the option for Antivirus programs appeared on the menu. I clicked on it and Kapersky Antivirus Scanner appeared. I ran it and it executed. Thank you for keeping me on track. I love it.

Next question will YUMI run any antivirus program in ISO format or only the ones listed in its menu?

Next question can I convert an exe to ISO? I like Intel's Identity tool and Seagate's Diskwizard. How can I add them to YUMI - System Tools?

    Hi Kcav.

Those listed will definitely work. Other ISOs may work as an Unsupported ISO. I don't know of any way to include EXEs as they require an OS to run under.

To run exes you will need to make a Winpe disk/USB which is quite straight forward if you are prepared to download the MS WAIK. Alternatively, you can run exes under the Hirens mini XP environment. I must admit the strict legality of the Hirens XP capability is unknown to me - I'm not a lawyer so I am not endorsing its use.
