cannot increase shadow capacity for System Restore

    Open an elevated command prompt and run this command:

    vssadmin resize shadowstorage /For=C: /On=C: /MaxSize=20%

    or use any percentage you want.

    I actually did some looking around here, and turned off the missing OS folder. I was then able to move the slider around to adjust System Restore. I believe I can now use System Restore better than ever, and hopefully without any problem.

    Can someone tell me why I have a missing OS folder, and is it something to be concerned about? After turning off the drive for the missing folder, it disappeared.
