Windows 7: Windows 7 System Image failure

Windows 7 System Image failure

I did a regular instal of Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and additional software on a friends PC. Moved all user folders from C: to a user disk U:. Like I have done a million times.

Only 'abnormal' thing is this: I cloned his 90 GB Vertex 2 SSD Windows system disk to a 120 GB 840 EVO.

After completing install and updates, the system image failed with the infamous 'not enough space' error. The 'fsutil' solution did not work. Remaining space on the boot partition remains to low for a system image to complete.

Do you know a solution (besides a re-install)?
