Cloning a win nt4 drive on a win 7 machine
Hi Folks i am new to the forum, I have searched this topic on the internet and i cant seem to get a straight answer , I wanted to clone a hard drive from a working win nt 4 machine. I removed the hard drive from the old machine and plugged it into my laptop with a USB - IDE cable, I didnt actually clone it , i simply looked at the files in my win 7 explorer. I put the old hard drive back into the win nt machine and i got a blue screen boot device not accessible.
There are multiple queries on the net about this problem , any assistance or point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
I simply would like to be able to get the old hard drive booting again
Thanks in advance
