    Windows Boot manager error 0xc000000f

Ok here is the deal most of you have probably seen this before but i think whats happening to me is different
I Factory reset my dads pc and as far as i know everything went correctly its a Acer Aspire 5517. my problem is when i start it it shows the acer logo and then goes straight to this

Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix this problem:
    1. Insert your Windows installation disc and restart your computer.
    2. Choose your language settings, and then click "Next."
    3. Click "Repair your computer."

If you do not have this disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance.

    Status: 0xc000000f

Info: Windows failed to load because the NLS data is missing, or corrupt.

now if i hit enter it takes me to choose an os to start OR use a tool now if i choose an os to start is just resets and takes me back to the "windows failed to start" screen and if i run the tool it does not find anything.

i used my pc to make a repair disc but when i put it into the other pc nothing happens and yes i changed the load order in Bios to do CD/DVD first
ive been trying to fix this for 2 days and i need some help. thanks!

    Welcome to Sevenforums SOA!

If you created a Repair Disc exactly as stated in this article:

Then you can try the same method but using a USB:

Reason: Boot Manager is corrupted due to recently installed software or hardware drivers.

1.Perform A Startup Repair. If It dosent help the issue,

2.Restore the system with the backup created earlier. If the backup is not created previously,

3.Reinstall windows with windows installation disc or through usb drive through windows 7 usb/dvd download tool.

    Hello again SOA.

Could you try testing the Hard Drive? Sounds like it could possibly be the problem.
