Looking for ADVANCED blu-ray burning software

I have a bunch of blu ray media that I like to burn when i want to back up my drive

However as i was backing up my data something screwed up somewhere and it started burning the blu ray way faster than it was suppose to. My media is rated for 4x and it was trying to burn it at 8x. Well I pushed the cancel button. First mistake i know. Anyway I didn't close the disk and it only burned a little way into the disk. Is there a program that will ignore the screwed up portion and burn a new session? Im sure 99% of the disk is absolutely fine.
Thanks

Not that I'm aware of. The BR disk is now a "coaster".

As to Advanced, don't know what features you want but I've found ImgBurn to do everything I need for burning BR/DVD/CDs.

You could buy something like Nero -- but they bundle a LOT of stuff with their products, and if you don't need all the extras, you're paying a lot for what then is essentially "bloatware".

Think of it this way, I Am trying to write a multi session blu ray. The first session is obviously no good but why can't i just write another session? I heard a rumor that imgburn does not support multiple session blu ray disks.

I would think that it would be possible to simply write a new session, although i would need a program that would not simply GIVE UP because it gets an error.
