Will my Software Raid or JBOD work on a new PC?
I have this question for a long time, and I would like your opinion about it. I have created a spanned volume with Windows 7. I use this spanned volume to back up my data. So I want to ask. Lets say, something happens and I have to buy a new PC (eg, mobo or processor failing). Will I be able to put these drives to my new PC and see the data? Will this work? Will I need to make any actions in order to see my data, and what this actions would be?
I think you understand my concern. I am using a Spanned volume for back up that I want to ensure that if something goes wrong I will be able to connect these drives to a completely new pc and work where I left off. Is this possible?
