That is not so. You just have to turn system restore on. I suggest you give it 5GBs.Reading up on google I noticed that if there is a SSD fitted you don't have the option for a system restore to an earlier time
And do what Brink said. There is no need to have 20GBs unused. That is from the original image which was 20GBs smaller than your disk.
But ultimately you should make frequent images. Restore points can be helpful but they are also very volatile. They have the habit of disappearing for various reasons. Here is a tutorial on how to make images - use an external disk to store the images.
PS - I just saw that you set the shadowstorage to 10GB. That's OK too.
