Will Files on Backup Drive be Deleted if...

Hi,

I have spent the majority of today backing-up files to my secondary 1TB HD on (D. I'm about to perform a full reinstall of Windows 7 on (C where it is originally installed. By doing so will I lose files from my other drive?

Any guidance is appreciated.

Thanks!

Only the partition that you put Windows 7 on (C will be affected. Just as a precaution, you should always backup as you said you did.

Yeah I went ahead and did the reset and everything on D: was fine. I did notice that there was a folder in C: called windows.old with basically everything I wanted to get rid of with the reinstall

Thanks for the help man

Thanks Golden. I have never run across this before. Has it always done this?
