| | 3rd party backup tasks not running... Hi, I am trying to get a third party backup utility working in my new Windows 7 partition. NTI Shadow and Urgent Backup are both OK for Windows 7, but the jobs do not run when scheduled. First I suspected one piece of software, but two failing can't be a coincidence. The Task Scheduler service is running and both pieces of software run under XP with no problems. The main difference between my Windows 7 partition and my XP partition is that I'm running Kaspersky 2010 on Windows 7 and ZoneAlarm on XP. Could Kaspersky be causing the problem? I don't know. Other than that the OS's are virtually software identical. Cheers... |
