I keeping getting a message that Windows Backup is skipping files.

Here is a copy of the text document it generates

Now, the User name "Derek and Tiena" does not exist anymore.

So, is this anything to worry about, and if not, I still want to get rid of this error message.

Have you checked to see what the settings for Backup are regarding what to back up since you removed the user Derek and Tiena?

What I did was is that I renamed the user from

"Derek and Tiena" to "Insprion 530s"

I can look at the settings, and Insprion 530s data is present, but the former name is not. It is not even found while navigating my C drive

this is a copy and paste from the above link. I made a Registry Edit-

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders and make sure that the key "AppData" is set to "C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming"

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders and check that the key "AppData" is set to "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming"

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Volatile Environment also here the key "AppData" should be "C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming"
