Computer Failure; Unknown OS, Unable to perform Startup Repair

    Windows 7, 64bit. Dell Inspiron 7720.
On Start without CD, no OS is detected. I have tried taking the HardDrive out, and putting it back in, to ensure that it is properly attached.
Unable to boot past BIOs, and having trouble repairing computer.
Hard Drive has been renamed to "Boot (:X)", and is now 32.5mb.
Where "Windows 7" should be during the repair process, is empty.
I have tried every option on the recovery CD, with no avail.
Startup Repair just loops, at attempting to repair files.

If anything else is needed, feel free to ask.
    I appreciate any help given.

    NOTE: Ran diagnostics;
    Results:
    Error Code: 2000-0332
    Validation 67315
Msg: Video Memory - Video Memory Integrity Test Discrepancy

From what I see, it almost seems like a harddrive failure, but I am not receiving any messages regarding a harddrive failure in diagnostics.

Ran Diagnostics again, and saw that it was skipping over HardDrive.
    Ran Harddrive diagnostics specifically, and...
    Error Code 2000-0142
    Validation: 68901
Msg: HardDrive 0- SN (Not giving serial number) short self test unsuccessful.
