With Partition Wizard you can do now:
    • shrink D
    • then extend E: to take space we got from D:
    • then shrink the beginning of E: to make space for ubuntu
    • then resize ubuntu to take space we got from E: (so make it larger and DON'T change starting sector yet!)
Press apply afterwards and confirm that win7 and ubuntu still boot correctly. Post results

OK, better to use the live version, right?

Use live version. Be sure to move/resize the correct partitions!

But since you asked - make an image of ALL partitions on the disk. I once lost ALL partitions on a disk because I made a small mistake with Partition Wizard - but luckily I had the images. I would not use Clonzilla, but if you are comfortable with is, it's better than nothing.

    Imaging with free Macrium
