Imaging or cloning tool with best compression?

I really liked the Macrium tutorial here on Seven Forums but I would like to know what other software expert people use and know.
I want to image (did it already in the past) the entire partition which have the operative system installed plus all software I need.
The original partition will have a huge size so even if Macrium resizes it, it's still big.
I would like to know what about other software's compression rate or if there is somewhere on internet like a comparative test showing the difference among them.

Other respected programs include Aomei Backupper, Paragon Backup and Recovery, and (maybe a step down from the first two) Acronis and EaseUS.

Macrium has more than 1 compression choice. The default is medium and results in a file that is between 40 and 50 percent of the size of the occupied space on the chosen partitions. I keep the most recent two, totaling about 30 GB. Most of us here who use it have separate data partitions that aren't necessarily imaged.

I've never tried any of Macrium's other compression choices and can't comment on other apps.

Takes me about 6 minutes to make an image of my C partition. Occupied space on C is 35 GB. The file is about 15 GB.

    Thanks for help,

I found a web page where they compared different software and Macrium's compression seems one of the top choice: http://www.freewaregenius.com/the-best-free-disk-imaging-program-a-comparative-analysis
However, it would be interesting to compare with Ghost.
