Updating Macrium and new rescue disk question

We'll ..... things have been in storage for some time and only catching up now.
I'm getting a Win7 laptop up to date, as I need it, and imaging as I go.
    But.....Macrium is version 5.0.4196.

If I update Macrium to V 5.3.7170, I believe I need to make a new rescue disk.
Will it work with the older images I have?
I Still have the previous rescue disk.

And if I can ask here, how is IE 11 to install? Any crazy issues?

Not kidding when I say stored for a while!! Thanks so much.

Never heard of any issues using a new Macrium boot disk with an old image file. As far as I know, new disks are fully backward-compatible.

    Can't help you with IE.
