Acer eRecovery management for recovering operating system

I am using the Acer eRecovery option to recover Windows 7 operating system. However when it reaches point of installing Office 2010 it freezes and does not move forward. Wanted to know if there is a way to get past this , even if I can bypass the Office 2010 install and complete the Windows OS install.

I don't know if there is a way to get past the stalling, but you should be able to do a clean install of Windows 7 without using the eRecovery partition if you have a valid Certificate of Authenticity sticker containing a 25 character Product Key.

You'd end up with a fresh Windows installation without any of the other stuff Acer may have included--no Office, no extra stuff. Just Windows 7.

You'd need to download a Windows 7 ISO and burn it to a DVD or get it onto a USB thumb drive if you don't have a DVD burner.
