    Restoring Dell Vostro running Windows 7 Enterprise to factory settings


    Hi All,

    So I have a little bit of a problem that I've tried to fix myself but got nowhere. I was given a Dell Vostro 220 running Windows 7 Enterprise (I assume 64bit) that has university settings all over it. Basically, I can't log in because I would need a university account and would have to be connected to the university server.

    That's really all I can get out of this computer. I'd really like to be able to log in and just use it, but I can't because of the Enterprise settings.

    So, if anyone has any ideas, I'd really appreciate a hand.

    Hmm, that is a bit of a problem. Unfortunately the Win7 Enterprise download was closed. So you cannot get an iso. Unless you have a recovery partition on the PC, it will be difficult. With a recovery partition it would be easy.

I recently upgraded my vista home premium to a windows 7 ultimate but I don't like it. If i do a restore from factory settings, will I get my old settings with my vista back? I have a folder in a C drive "windows.old" which has all of the old settings/files/folders/drivers.
