system checkpoints not showing in system restore

Win 7 64 bit
1TB HD 107 GB free
RAM 3GB

My computer is set up to make system checkpoints each day but there is no system checkpoints listed in the system restore. They are set to be made on a schedule.

The only point in system restore are when i install a program that makes one automatically or when i manually make one. When i look in vista sys restore there is a system checkpoint every day

Welcome to our forum April Raine.

As far as I can remember Windows makes a restore point every 7th day if none have already been made.

I did find this tutorial you might like. A tutorial by Bare Foot Kid.
