Windows 7 Backup and Restore Problem

Until last night I was able to backup the whole disk using the backup facility that comes with Windows 7. As of last night, now shows backup for the C partition only, the Recovery and System partitions are omitted. Ideas most welcome.

    Hello grasmith,

Did you mean to create a system image? It should include all system drives/partitions by default with it.

    Hi Brink.
Yes. It has always included all system drives/partitions by default until last night when only the C drive was listed in the backup window. Note: Paragon Backup and Restore was installed and discarded (uninstalled) prior to the win 7 backup procedure.

Go ahead and post a screenshot showing the full layout of your Disk Management window to see if it may reveal what the issue could be. If they don't have drive letters, they won't be listed, but should still be included in the system image.

    Hi Brink.
    Spooky things happening!
Just tried another win7 backup and it's all there. So back to normal, all 3 partitions present and correct.
    Another Windows hiccup?
Thanks for your input, Windows never ceases to amaze me.

    Great news.

I suppose it may have been a backup you created from an installation that didn't have the partitions??
