Gateway MyBackup Restore Windows Failed To Boot

I installed win 10 and then Linux on my PC and wanted to go back to windows. I found that my partition with the backup got deleted. I have 7 discs of the factory settings backup so I booted from the first and it took me to the gateway my backup restore screen. Then it said insert disc 1 and then eventually all the way to 7. When that was done it said click ok to restart your computer and I clicked it and it said windows failed to boot. Please help.

Check with Gateway whether they cannot send you an installation disc. I once got that from them.

I saw on the gateway website that for 20.00$ there is a disc that restores to factory default. I suppose I just boot from that. One last question, why do you think that the dvd restore did not work? Thanks!
