Macrium vs Acronis suggestion?

I have been using Acronis, and I heard of Macrium Reflect recently.

Is Macrium better than Acronis?

There is no more free Macrium now?

Is the free Macrium version as good as Acronis?

Thanks

Most people here, including myself, feel that Macrium is the best.
This is what I know about Macrium. It is still free. They just came out with a new version, which will be available shortly. The free will be available soon
Macrium Reflect Free
Faster than Acronis.
It has saved me in crisis about 3 times.

Is "Incremental cloning" in Macrium same as incremental backup in Acronis?

Macrium Free vs Macrium Pay
I am using the free version. I have visited the site and read what the pay version does. As far as I can tell the incremental backups is really the only thing that seems worthwhile. I was just curious if anyone has tried the pay version and found a feature that made it worth paying for. Thanks,

Time to Restore Image - Acronis, Macrium Reflect, Windows 7
I recently restored my Windows 7 disk using Acronis Western Digital Edition, Macrium Reflect, and Windows 7. See results below for both creating the image and restoring the image. The compressed image files were all in the range of 45-50 GB. The associated boot DVD was used in all cases to...

Macrium / Acronis problems so using IFW from terabyte
Hi there On Windows 8 I couldn't get Macrium free to work properly when backing up an SSD to a USB3 external disk. I know this is W7 but some people will be testing W8 too so they will want a backup mechanism that works both on W7 and W8. I've had too many issues with Acronis to continue to...

Macrium vs Acronis True Home Image 2011
I know both programs have been discussed before but what are the pros and cons of both Macrium and the latest version of Acronis (2011)? or are they pretty equal? I don't mind spending a few bucks on Acronis especially since I still got gift cards form Xmas:D Acronis looks like it has a...

Command line choices for DiskWizard(Acronis) / Macrium
Tried Acronis True Image Home for a couple months but spent too much time solving problems. I agree with their forum conclusions that while the "core" functions of 2011 are solid...the rest of the features have multiple issues/problems. For now I will stay with either Macrium or Seagate...

Acronis users - Upgrade to Acronis Home 2011
Hi there For current Acronis users the upgrade to 2011 IMO is well worth the small price (approx 25 EUR). New USB 3.0 support, direct conversion of .tib into .vhd files (great for P2V and V2P conversions of Virtual Machines) plus all the other stuff you would expect from a robust backup...
