System Restore - very old entries.

Hi Guys
one of my Win 7 PC's (Still operates perfectly) shows a number of very old entries in the system restore list.

These are accompanied by the usual list of recent entries which do disappear when I elect to delete all entries except the most recent one. The older entries remain in the list regardless of the delete all except the last entry function.
This is not a problem - just annoying and I would love to find out how erase these entries. All ideas welcomed.
I would estimate that the date of the offending entries was at the time of the O/S installation

Have you moved Restore Points to another partition or drive??

Good Idea GokAh - interestingly the program did not list any of the 'old files'

But then prompted by Layback Bears later input, he may well have a point here. The above program (I think from memory) listed the backups contained in the C directory. HOWEVER -
There may well be backups of the original install on the d drive or e drive disks. I will check this out when I can get to the computer concerned tomorrow.
Thanks guys for your interests and posts.

Another good idea - but unfortunately not the answer!
I will keep investigating, but many thanks for your time and help so far

On my wife's Windows 7 PC - I notice that in the system restore entries, there are approx 4 entries which date back to the time (2014) when the OS was first installed. These seem to be immovable. All later ones get added and can be removed in the normal way. Although this does not cause any...

Allocated System Restore space holds far fewer restore points now
I have 8gb of space allocated to System Restore, all monitoring my C partition only. This space is always at least 85-90% used according to the System Protection screen. In the past I have had at least 15 restore points to choose from after ticking "show more restore points." But today I went to...

How To Get Rid Of Old System Restore Point Entries
There are five System Image Restore Points I want to delete. The images either no longer exist (I deleted them off an external drive) or they were never created (just starting the process creates an entry). I believe I started a similar thread a couple of months ago with no resolution. Hoping...

Cannot Delete Old System Restore Entries
