That is true. Disk Cleanup deletes all but last System Restore Point which has nothing to do with
Windows Backup. Two completely different things.

Hello All,
In some post I mentioned that since Macrium installed, my boot sequence changed: Originally boot sequence was checking devices (displayed on screen) then starting Windows (Welcome, pls wait, etc.), now in boot sequence I am asked to select boot from Macrium or boot to windows 7. Is it possible to get back to old boot sequence, if yes, how.
2. How can I slow down the boot sequence - if possible.
Thanks for answering.

If there's a way it's inside the programs options.

@ motim.

You should be able to remove the start up option, by opening Macrium & on the list at the top, one should have a drop down menu where you can untick "Add boot menu option".

See options when you install Macrium Reflect. You must have checked the option to install a boot menu item to load the Macrium Reflect recovery environment.

Macrium Support Forum - Windows Boot Manager is confused by Reflect

Or if using Macrium Reflect v6.0 check options here:

Adding a boot menu option for system Image recovery - KnowledgeBase - Macrium Reflect Knowledgebase

Under Step 2 select "No Menu" and see if that removes the entry from the boot loader.

EDIT: See Ranger4's post above!

Macrium Installation
Hello Forum, Recently downloaded "Macrium User Guide.pdf" and started studying, some info could not find, I am a little confused and much headache, so before starting the installation, I am going to ask you experts some (may be silly questions - don't laugh) questions: 1. What media to make the...

Macrium Installation

Macrium Free vs Macrium Pay
I am using the free version. I have visited the site and read what the pay version does. As far as I can tell the incremental backups is really the only thing that seems worthwhile. I was just curious if anyone has tried the pay version and found a feature that made it worth paying for. Thanks,

About to use Macrium
I did the whole "diskpart" thing and am now installing SP1. My question is, would it be better to install SP1, as well as my Programs, THEN use Macrium. I'm reading the tutorial now, and I was curious on which is better. Here is what I currently have installed Norton AV (latest Updates) Comodo...

Macrium
Apologies if this is an improper location for this post, I received help here before. I recently re-formatted my vista pc to WIn7. I had posted asking about an imaging program (WIn7/Macrium) and decided to go with Macrium Free, but I just noticed I don't have the option to do an "Incremental"...
