OK, I anticipated this for both your system drive and external drive are 1.TB. Disk 80 is your 8GB pendrive . No problem.

Out of the other two it is easy to find out which is what. First select Disk81 and enter to [Proceeed] In the next screen if [EFIGPT] is highlighted that is your system drive on which you have to process further by moving the highlight to [Intel] and [Proceed].We want it to be analysed as an [Intel] MBR drive which it was before.

On the other hand if [Intel] Intel/PC partition is highlighted it is your MBR external drive. Go back and select the other GPT drive. (I am assuming that your external drive is an MBR drive. But you should know. That is why I asked you to find it out in my post #26 "a). Do you know whether your new 1TB external drive is an MBR drive or GPTdrive? If you do not know run Partition Wizard and check that it shows as a Basic MBR drive in disk map."

EDIT: From your Screenshot at post#30 it seems to be your external drive.TestDisk has already shown that one partition.

Always stop if you have a doubt. Do not proceed till you get an answer/instructions.

I selected disk 82 as assuming it will the system drive. When I clicked to proceed The [EFIGPT] was highlighted and I move it to intel/PC partition. Now It is anylising with deeper search and 55% done yet.

I did check the external was was MBR. I forgot to mention before.

Could you see all your files?

Regarding how to reach the destination drive, you have to read the link I had given. ( Have you read it?)

Copying files listed by TestDisk during Recovery : My external hard drive suddenly became unllocated:

You have to reach your destination external drive and the Recovery folder you had created there.( Have you created?)

For the time being go back and show me the screen showing the detected partitions with the partition you selected, and the files seen by you when you hit P(Shift+P). For this time I would advise you to select the last partition which I know does not contain any system files.( the first partition may contain your system files) I shall also try to do the recovery of my trial drive to a small pendrive ( I do not have an empty external drive) and then tell you.

But do not worry. If you can see your files you should be able to copy them.

    Just show the above screens.

I read all your link files and understood but were not able to find the recovery folder in any drive. ( Shown the screen shots in last message.)

Yes I made a recovery folder in external drive. Below I'm attaching screenshot of the drives it show after deeper search. The selected one and last two have my data in them.

The first screen it shows after copying the files is as below. The next in the bottom contains three more .exe and .txt files.

You are copying files to the Directory C:/ - which is your pendrive containing the TestDisk - which is wrong. Can you not see it is mentioned as Directory C: / in the top of your last screenshot. That is where you are.

You should give the copy command only after reaching the Recovery Folder in the destination drive.

This is very well explained in my writeup on how to copy the files. ( Yep it is for TestDisk for Windows but the same applies to DOS )

I am happy that your files are listed. Try to reach the destination as explained above. Well, you have to just catch the trick to get there. Left arrow key to show your disks, up/down arrow key to select the drive. If the selected drive shows your Recovery folder you had created on the external HDD that is the destination drive. With up/down arrow key select the Recovery folder. Then in that select drwx. Press C - capital C (Shift+C) to copy.

EDIT: I had asked you to create a Recovery folder in the empty drive. that should help you to reach the recovery folder instead of just a directory ( the external HDD) .
