System transfer to new SSD wont work

Hi,

I recently bought a new SSD disc Patriot blast 480 gb, with the idea to make it a system disc in order to improve the performance. I have a HP Z210 workstation. Currently my HDD is Samsung 1TB, divided in two partitions, of which c: is system. Also I divided SSD in two partitions.
After this I did the following steps in two variants from which none worked:

I Windows standard system recovery

1. Made system image in windows on one of the partitions on SSD
2. Made System repair disc on DVD
3. Changed boot order to Atapi CD/DVD
4. Disconected the old drive
5. Changed the SATA places that patriot is on SATA 0

When I start the computer with a System repair disc inserted in DVD drive I get a message which says that the inserted disc is not a system boot disc or something like that, and it stops there.

Then I tried with Acronis true image 2014 the following:

1. Made system image in Acronis on one of the partitions on SSD
2. Made Boot USB
3. Changed boot order to USB
4. Disconected the old drive
5. Changed the SATA places that patriot is on SATA 0
6. Started boot with USB
7. Succesfully transfered system image to an empty partition on SSD through Acronis software

When I restart the system I get just a black screen and everything stops, no error screen, message or anything else.

Please if somebody can help me because I got VERY FRUSTRATED, especially I am doing all this at night when my children is sleeping.

Thank you in advance.

Filip
