    Control Panel Backup Disappeared

Here is one I've never seen. My Backup screen is blank.

I go to Control Panel and it looks normal

I click on Backup and Restore and I get this blank page. I haven't tried all items on Control Panel but all of the maybe 15 I have tried look to be fine.

    Any ideas?

don't know why I can never find what I'm looking for using the forums search and when I go to google search I find a thread here in the forums, but such it is again.

Exactly my problem a few years back.

Windows 7 Backup and Restore blank screen

I had installed an EVO 850 about a month ago and was having trouble getting AHCI enabled (bios said yes, win registry ok) which ended up with a needed chipset patch.

In the meantime i had installed Samsung Magician because it allows you to manually sort of run a trim command (I think).

Anyway that was last week. Finally I got the system all configured the way I wanted (new SSD, new HD, old HD gone) and was going to do a system image when this occurred. As I did run a system image backup on 3/20 after the new mobo and ssd were installed, I'm pretty suspicious that it's Samsung Magician as the culprit as others have implicated it.
