Genie Timeline Pro - how to delete old backup files

Genie keeps prior versions of files. For example: update File1.doc and there will be both the current and previous version. When space on the backup drive becomes in short supply, it will delete some of the oldest prior versions. This works fine with a backup drive that reports actual space but not with a Drobo.

A Drobo has the ability to extend its capacity by simply replacing a smaller drive with a larger one. To avoid having to reformat the device whenever the total capacity is increased, the initial setup of the Drobo defines a virtual capacity. For example: my Drobo has four 2TB drives with a real capacity of 6TB after accounting for recovery space. But the Drobo is defined as having 16TB of space. Hence the device can be completely full but a software program will not realize that.

Hence while I've filled the Drobo, Genie Timeline never goes into cleanup mode because it thinks there is still 9TB of free space. I therefore need to clean up old versions of files manually.

While I can right-click on files one at a time, looking for old versions; this would literally take years.

Any suggestions? BTW, I have opened a ticket at Genie9 to see what they suggest.
