Image restore not on D drive but C

    I changed my folder options but that did not show the data in the Windowsimagebackup folder.

    Here I prepared a screen shot of what I am seeing in the Cmd line and explorer folder.

    I tried changing the folder name and although you can change it when you try to reinstall the OS it can not find the windowsimagebackup it is looking for. I guess you have to leave the folder alone and can not change to record multiple image backups.

    Or rather you can but when you are ready to reinstall you have to change the name however that would be hard if you system is not booting well.

    Did you read the tutorial i gave you in post #7 ?
    System Image Recovery

    What is in your Ronald-Inspiron folder ?
    Did you move/save the backup image in that folder ?

    Macrium Reflect free doesn't have these problems
