    Windows 7 Backup

    Hi,

I am thinking about using the built in backup utility in Windows 7. However I wanted to know if it saves the data as a bkf file like in XP, or does it make a carbon copy of the data - i.e files and folders can be opened right after the copy.

I am ideally looking for a way to have it so that whatever I copy can be accessed straight away just like a manualy copy and paste. Is this possible?

    Hello Transform,

If you mean how it displays after you have already created a backup, then this may help.

    Hope this helps,
