Hi guys,
I recently had a hard drive fail on me so I have been trying to restore an image of my pc.
My PC has 3 different hard drives, the system drive, a work drive and a games media/music drive.
The system drive is 250gb, the work drive 750gb and the games media drive is 1 terabyte.
In my image i have images of the 3 hard drives which are labelled C,D,E
when I restore the image it has no problem restoring the C drive but it then skips the E drive restore and goes on to restore the D drive, saying that it can't restore the E drive but it completed succesfully.
It is also performing the image restore into the wrong place, putting the D drive files on my 1TB E hard drive instead of the 750 drive.
I have tried switching the hard drives around my sata ports, the priority in the bios (which i know shouldn't do anything but it was worth a shot)
Is this just how the system restore works or is there anything I can do to get it to restore all three hard drive images into the correct locations?
Thank you for your time
