HELP, please! Networking & Paragon Backup error 0x11025

Like many others I have never been very good at backing up my files until it is too late. Recently I decided that it was time to change. I purchased a 1.5TB hard drive which I partitioned in 3, and attached it to my desktop computer. I also purchased a Linksys wireless router & high speed internet. Both my desktop & laptop were upgraded to Windows 7. I was hoping to find software that would allow me to 'set & forget' the backup proceedure, with my desktop direct to one of the hard drive partitions, and my laptop over the wireless network through a homegroup to a second partition. I first purchased Laplink DiskImage, but ran into problems there. Now I am trying to do the same with Paragon Backup but again had problems when trying to backup from my Laptop over the network. Paragon started ok, but then came back with this..... Hard Disk Management, 0x11025, Unable to write file.
Can anyone shed any light on my problem? FRUSTRATED!!!!
